Noise. Probably the most often heard complaint about houses. The noise of a neighbor walking on a stone or a wooden floor. The sound of flushing toilets on the floor above you. The elevator early in the morning. New EU legislature for acoustic insulation of domestic buildings describes in detail all new developments have to comply with. Trocellen has a wide range or products for acoustic insulation. Trocellen. Probably the longest lasting insulation material.
Roof & Wall
- Trocellen N: Acoustic as well as thermal insulation for roofs and walls. Suitable for corrugated metal roofing to reduce impact sound from rain and hail.
- Trocellen ALU: Same as Trocellen N but with a 50 micron aluminum layer for maximum vapor resistance and increased sound reduction.
- Aplomb: A three-layer composite impact and aerial sound insulation material. With a layer of lead to block low frequency drum sound, and soft layers to absorb higher frequency noise. Suitable for drain pipe insulation.
- Isolmass: A three-layer composite impact and aerial sound insulation material. With a layer of high-density material to block low frequency drum sound, and soft layers to absorb higher frequency noise. Lead-free. Suitable for drain pipe insulation.
- Isosound: An insulating sleeve developed especially for drain pipes. Prevents direct contact of the drain pipe with the structural walls and floors to reduce impact sound.

Screed underlay
- Trosil: For use under screed with a high-dynamic stiffness and good compression creep.
- Trosil-Tech: The standard Trosil with a non-woven polyester layer for an even higher dynamic stiffness.
- Trosil HIS: High-impact resistant Trosil for the highest performance over time.
- All screed underlay must be used in combination with perimeter band to ensure the "floating floor" principle: there may not be any direct contact between the screed and the structural floor and the structural walls.
Parquet underlay
- Isolene: Exclusively developed for St. Maclou with an noise reduction of 21dB and complete with vapor barrier.
- We recommend using a perimeter band to avoid any direct contact between the parquet floor and the structural wall (and if you replace the floor after many years, you can re-use the Trocellen Parquet Underlay).

Accessories
- Trocellen Join Band: The same quality as Trosil, with self-adhesive for easy installation, to join the separate sheets. Ensures the "floating floor" principle.
- Trocellen N Band: For perimeter insulation of the flooring in the same quality as Trosil, with self-adhesive strip for easy installation. Ensures the "floating floor" principle.
- Trocellen Under Wall: For sound insulation of vertical non-structural walls.
- Trocellen Skirting Board Tape: For the decoupling of the flooring and the skirting boards.
- Trocellen Matiblock glue: A synthetic glue suitable for gluing Trocellen cross-linked poly-ethylene foams to various surfaces, as well as for foam-on-foam application.
